Why am I forgiven?
God loves each and every one of us no matter what we have done in the past. Its in Gods nature to forgive looking at the bible we see that in all its glory, continually throughout the bible it talks of the forgiveness of God blotting out our sins. Many times we would as people say why would we forgive a particular person if they have hurt us or said something against us judging it in our human terms we forgive people because they mean something to us, we love them in some way. Imagine that we can forgive because we love admittedly we don't forgive all the time its hard within our human constraints to do this, but God in his perfection can and does.
